A Little Bit About Me
I am currently getting my MFA in Acting from the University of Washington's PATP, in Seattle, WA. I am an East Coast transplant on a West Coast learning curve.
Before I came to Seattle, I lived and worked in Washington, DC for eight years. I received my Bachelor's of Music from the Benjamin T. Rome School of Music at CUA. My first job out of school was working with Synetic Theatre, DC's premier physical theatre company. I remained an Assosicate Company Member with Synetic for over a year. Soon I worked with the brilliant Ethan McSweeny on his Midsummer Night's Dream at Shakespeare Theatre Company, which we took to the 27th Annual Macau Arts Festival in Macau, China last year. I actually met my husband doing The Tempest at Shakespeare Theatre Company. So STC is a company I hold dear to my heart.
One of my favorite shows was a Gala with The John F. Kennedy Center. In one week, we learned and staged My Fair Lady for a one night performance. I had the chance to work with Broadway director Martha Milgrom Dodge, and share the stage with Jonathan Price, Cloris Leachman, Michael York, and Laura Michelle Kelly. It was bananas!
I am a proud member of Actor's Equity. If you want to learn more, check out what I've been up to by clicking on the Resume button below.
